Handover inventory guide

Damage not recorded at move-in often becomes a deposit dispute at move-out. A photo inventory reduces that risk early.

What should a move-in record include?

A general photo per room, a fixed-fixtures list (appliances, built-ins, lighting), and tenant acknowledgment. Timestamps and party details matter for later proof.

How to collect tenant approval

Wet signatures are not always practical. A time-limited share link lets the tenant review and approve; store approval time and IP with the record.

Move-out comparison

Add move-out photos against the same inventory list and flag new damage. The office can justify deposit deductions with documents.
